Magnificat and Nunc dimittis (1997, 2019) mixed choir, organ and maracas commissioned for MJ Hackett and St. Paul's School Choir

A short Magnificat written for Evensong at St. Paul's. I was taken by how
well the latin text divided itself into 5/4, and wanted to create a contrast
between the formality of the latin, and the almost folk-like quality of the
english tune.
Magnificat only, sung by the St. Paul's School Choir, MJ Hackett, organ;
waf conducting.
A version for small orchestra of the Magnificat was commissioned by the Concord
Chorale, who perform it here under Ryan Turner.
After 20 (!) years, I finally got around to writing a Nunc dimittis to round out the Magnificat. Here's a video demo of the current state of the two movements:
