Magnificat and Nunc dimittis (1997, 2019) mixed choir, organ and maracas 5:00 minutes A short Magnificat written for Evensong at St. Paul's. I was taken by how well the latin text divided itself into 5/4, and wanted to create a contrast between the formality of the latin, and the almost folk-like quality of the english tune.
