        for the Infinities Ensemble

An expansion of Avalokiteshvara's Taxi, with the same modernization of the old Buddhist characters: Manjushri, who wields a sword to cut through delusion mows the lawn; Mahakasyapa, who awakened when Buddha silently held up a flower becomes a florist; and Avalokiteshvara, taking the ferry boat across the river drives a taxi. Each is a whimsical depiction of the spiritual journey...
